How to build a cheap website and forget SEO

First…use a WP (WordPress) platform. They look like websites but they are “fill in the blanks” templates at £30 each.
Let the client write all the copy. It will be promotional brochure copy, not online or even SEO copy.
Don’t use any Calls To Action (CTAs)
Don’t use metatags correctly
Use cheap hosting
Keep it to under 10 pages
Put promotional offers all over the place
Don’t put staff photos on
Pray that a small investment will bring  a huge financial result.
Marketing, at any level, whether it’s offline or online, is certainly not about cost and it isn’t as easy as everyone thinks. If you are a “have a go hero” you will fail and you will waste all your money. Sorry but that is the reality.
I recently looked at a really lovely big website that had great products and great offers. Pity though, Google will only see it as a one page site (really poor on page SEO) so traffic will be small and income will  be low. What a waste. Somebody should be shot for it. Maybe one of those Harrogate SEO experts did it?
